After Cecil the lion was killed by an American trophy hunter, the Zimbabwean government has suspended hunting activities for certain animals. Lion expert Gareth Patterson talks about the facts and figures of trophy hunting along with the impact it has on the lions themselves.

They've already reversed the decision to temporary ban the hunting in the Hwange area… Gareth Patterson is the True Lion Man.  RIP Cecil, RIP Batian, Gareth's lion boy killed many years ago about the same way they killed Cecil.

Hunting should only be of non – threatened species and only for food. Trophy hunting is really a colonialist thing. It's barbaric and doesn't belong in this century.
